A day on the Island

John got up at 5:15 am to fish. Bev got up about 7:30 am for breakfast to eat by 8:00 am. Bev has her priorities and John has his. Breakfast, Marta is an awesome cook. After lunch John went to the room to rest and Bev took her float down to the next pier and laid out a couple of hours on the water, what a beautiful day. Remember us telling you that you needed to be on the water so the bugs couldn’t get to you – forget it! Bev got ate up. Every part of her body that wasn’t covered had a bite on it. And buddy, do they itch. After that, she covered herself in baby oil gel then put on repel 40% deet to keep those things at bay. Later in the evening we fished until dinner. Earlier that day John saw a 6 foot nurse shark swim out from underneath the dock. We both saw a barracuda about 5 feet long. We are going to watch a movie tonight on the computer we brought along.
