Guanaja is a beautiful island and if you like to be secluded then Bo’s Island House is the place. We have no phone or internet communication, electricity is from a generator, and water is piped in from a stream up the mountain. Got up this morning to eat breakfast at 8:00 am. John fished while Bev snorkeled and laid out in the sun. This time we brought our own mask, snorkel, and fins. Bev also brought her own float so she could lay out in the water. You don’t lay on the beach because the sand fleas and no see ums are really bad here. After lunch John fished then took a nap and Bev laid out and snorkeled. Bev has been going up to the restaurant and reading The Dance of Chance by Dr. Mark Chironna and listening to You Make Me Brave by Bethel Music and Still Believe by Kim Walker Smith. Both of these cd’s are so powerful. It’s like a concert in Heaven – just close your eyes and lift your hands toward Heaven and God does the rest. We ate dinner and sat around and talked to Bo. It is dark by 6:30 pm and the stars are beautiful. The toads make a lot of noise at night and sometimes you will see a stingray swim by.
